Do you have an iPad with Procreate and feel overwhelmed at getting started?
You are not alone! There are SO many tools that it can be intimidating. I show students how to create everything using a process of 3 tools. The reason I want to teach you is so that you can have fun creating art every day without excuse!
This class is self guided. I have structured the first part of this class to be completed in under an hour with clear videos and support materials. There are follow up lessons and support materials designed to keep the momentum going and sustain your art practice.
Work From Life or Photos
Sometimes it can be a nuisance to lay out paint and change clothes. It's fun to draw whatever is around the house.
Observe Shapes and Colors
Travel without leaving home.
Make use of Small Moments
I drew this on the iPad while I was waiting for my daughter outside an appointment.
What You'll Need
An hour to go through the first part of the class. Then there are follow up lessons to reinforce the process and keep you creating. You’ll need an iPad from the past few years. Procreate App ($10) and a stylus. If you don't have a stylus its not necessary to have an Apple Pencil..email me for suggestions. I have an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil but regular iPads/iPad Minis will work fine too.
Student Success
This was completed by a student after taking the class. He found time to use Procreate as a sketchbook while being a busy Dad and professional.

A Sketch a Day
"I'm finally doing a sketch a day in the morning. The ease of just grabbing my iPad and drawing...is wonderful! What a thrill to learn something completely different."
Orna Greenberg, Artist
"If I Can Do It, You Can Do It!"
"I am not a tech savvy person, and while I am creative, I am not a painter. And I am not technologically talented.
Anne's clear, concise way of explaining how getting started made the process so accessible and easy. I love it!" Evan Healy, founder of Evan Healy Skin Care
I love to help people create space and time for their art!
When I was raising small children I found that I was so frustrated trying to make time for my art. I began using the iPad in 2009. It allowed me dream bigger while taking advantage of the small moments and gave me a great tool for a daily art practice.
Over time, I've used Procreate to explore ideas, daydream and make more efficient use of my time when I'm back at the easel.
A huge joy for me is to see students drawing and painting on the iPad after years of wanting to prioritize their art making.
