The theme of this Paint Along Class will be Drama: How to create drama using shape pattern and color. This is a prerecorded 2 hour and 15 minute class where we will be working from a reference photo. I'll be working in gouache for this one but all the same principles will apply if you want to paint along on your iPad or in your preferred medium! To begin, I'll be sharing some helpful journaling pages related to the inner work of being an artist for you to download and do on your own. I'll be working with a basic palette of ultramarine blue, red, yellow, green, raw umber, black and white. We will do a short "break the white page" exercise using pencil and pen and paper to get warmed up. Then we'll look at the design of our image and begin painting.
